Bad Baby!

He...he...he... Mommy leaves me for 2 minutes and I decided to take things off the shelves. This basket of bibs and blankets looks like it would be FUN to play with! :) I love being mobile and strong. It makes it much more easy for me to be mischievous!

Playing with the Goods!

Here I am playing with my awesome Jumperoo! I just LOVE this thing.

I also got tons of blocks and other toys for me to explore. Christmas was a blast. When is the next one????

Christmas Evening!

All Christmas Afternoon Mom and Dad were busy cleaning up presents from the morning and cooking dinner for Christmas evening. Mom (with the help of Grandpa) baked her first Turkey. It actually turned out really yummy. I wish I had more than 2 teeth! We had a total of 10 people over for Christmas din-din! It was loads of fun! I got to be the center of attention, as I was the only one under the age of 25 there!

I started getting the hang of unwrapping by time the evening rolled around.

Uncle Derek was so much fun! He must have really liked me, as he tried to take me home! That would've been okay with me. He just got a new Guitar Hero game that I would LOVE!

Christmas Morning!

Yeah! I love Christmas!
Although, I didn't quite get the hang out of unwrapping. I'd rather play with the bow.

Asleep in the Car!

I have finally gotten over my hatred of car rides. I used to scream nonstop in all car rides...but for two or so months, I realized that they weren't going away. So now, I embrace them and use them to catch up on some ZZZ's!

Mischief with Daddy

Mommy left me alone with Daddy for 2 minutes and look where he ends up putting me.
We just happened to combine Mommy's 2 loves **ME** & Coke Zero. Life couldn't be any sweeter.

6 month check up!

Here is the latest and greatest news on Bethany:
Weight: 15 lbs (even).........25th percentile
Height: 25 inches (even).......25th percentile
Head: 17 inches (even).........75th percentile

She is still a small baby with a BIG head. :) However, when I look at her, I do feel her head is proportional to her body. I just think she has so many brains to store up there!

She got FIVE (5!!!) shots this week. That has not agreed with her too well. She has been very spitty-uppy. She hasn't been eatting/drinking. Poor thing. Hopefully, things will return to normal. She has had all of these shots before, beside the flu shot. So, I am blaming all of that on the flu shot.
Bethany has started to get on all 4's and rocking back and forth. She hasn't crawled yet...but getting closer.
she is expressing interest in the keyboard right now...so this message is from her:
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Christmas Tree!

Wow! What a gigantic tree. I like all of the lights and ornaments! It even rotates. This is so neat!

I need to get a closer look!

Schucks! I am caught. I thought the tree skrt would make a good blanket!

Crazy Eyes!

Cory caught this picture! It is a tad bit creepy looking! Poor Bethany!

Big blanket!

It is official! I am a member of the family now! Grandpa finally made me this AWESOME Winnie-the-Pooh blanket. It is great to have something nice and large to roll all over on!

OUCH!

Yikes! Who knew growing up could be so PAINFUL! Right now, I have something cutting through my gums & it HURTS! My mom and dad are trying their hardest to comfort me, but nothing seems to work. When will the torture end? All I wanted to do the past couple of nights is cuddle with the folks. Their lovin' seems to make things seem a little better! I can't wait until this is over and I start feeling up to playing with my toys again!

Better than Cancun!

Sometimes we sit back and think of the things we can't do now that we have Bethany.
Some of those things include: going to movies on a whim, traveling to exotic places, cruising the deep blue seas, sleeping in late, etc. Doing some of those things would be awesome! I have always wanted to go on a cruise and who doesn't enjoy sleeping in late. But the more and more interactive Bethany becomes and the more personality she shows us; the more I began to realize: Bethany is better than Cancun. I am glad we went the family route. She is well worth the sacrifices; the late nights; and the thousands of dollars in day care, formula and diapers!

In the Corner!

Somehow Bethany ends up in the corner of her crib in the mornings. We found her like this the past 2 mornings. She starts off in her sleep positioner in the center of the bed. I have no clue how she ends up in the corner! Crazy Kid!

Like the Primates!

Bethany has evolved! She is using tools now! In her little exersaucer she likes to grab the dolphin toy and bang on the octopus. When she does this with enough force, the octopus lights ups and plays music! What a brilliant little girl!

Busy Weekend!

We have been pretty busy the past weekend and the last few days! We have had 4 folks coming in from out of town to stay with us over night and we had a couple more people come in to visit us during the day recently. This has been keeping us pretty busy and active. Poor Bethany has a hard time keeping up with us. She was just ready to crash for good on Sunday!

My little Cinderella!

I do have to admit. I enjoy Bethany's ability to support her own neck. This had made the whole transporting Baby process much easier. I am also enjoying her *ability* to sit up. Although, she doesn't stay seated for too long (she gets excited and flails her arms about and topples over); it is still fun to be able to plop her on the ground knowing she will be okay.
We recently bought a new cd *yes, we still buy cd's*! It is Steven Curtis Chapman's new Christmas cd. It is great! It has one song that really touches our hearts. It is called "Cinderella." I encourage you to listen to it and think of your own little goobers! The first time I listened to it, it put tears in my eyes. I love Bethany a ton and do cherish our time with her. Here is a link to the song: Cinderella.
